Everyone has a Story

I've liked this boy and I've been with him for two and a half years, and being christian, I've prayed a lot for the relationship to go as smoothly as it possibly can. But lately, things just aren't going too well. He gets really mad at me for asking him simple questions. It's like he either doesn't want to tell me or doesn't like talking to me. I've been open with him and I've told him about mistakes I have made in the past. I really want to know if I should try to move on because the chemistry isnt right but that's two and a hal years worth of memories thrown in the trash. iI don't know if I'd be sadder losing him or giving up everything I've sacrificed for him.

First off, 2 and half years.. that’s a very long to be with anyone at any age especially if you’re younger. Second, if things do not work out between you two, don’t ever consider those ‘memories thrown in the trash’. The fact that you two were able to withstand problems and difficulties for that long means that your relationship was stronger than most.

Obviously in any relationship, things are not going to go fairly easy and you’re never going to have any problems. But the fact this he is getting mad at you for simple questions leads me to believe that you two have come to the point where you’ve been together for so long that maybe certain things bother you about each other. It’s natural, so do not take too much offense. In my opinion, I think you should sit him down and just talk to him calmly about the two of you, what you want, what he wants, etc. As soon as you get that on the table, you’ll be able to decide whether or not you should remain together, take a break or break up all together. Who knows, you two could break up for a month realize how much you miss one another and then get back together with things being better than ever.. You never know, but the more you two lack communication and just disagree and argue the worse the situation is going to get. If praying helps you, then by all means pray your little heart out.. But in the end everything happens for a reason so remember that.

today, i was hanging out with a guy i havent seen in a while that my friend used to like. a lot. and when he said goodbye, he kissed me. i know it didn't mean anything, he lives too far away for anything to ever happen. i just don't know if i should tell her or not. i don't see how what she doesn't know chould hurt her. i'm not telling anyone. who has to know.. right? what do you think i should do..

If it doesn’t mean anything, then don’t over analyze things too much and work yourself up over it. But in my opinion, I would not tell her unless things are taken more seriously and you two take that kiss as more than a friendship peck, you know? I know you probably feel guilty seeing as your friend liked him, but nobody is anyone else’s property and just because he kissed you does not mean you should feel obligated to tell your friend. You did nothing wrong, neither did he.

Well I’m not a lesbian myself, but you just know. If you’re attracted to girls, then so be it. Don’t fight it or question it. It’s how you’re made and programed and everything will work out perfectly. Do not over think things too much or try and prevent things from happening because you’re scared. Because you’re beautiful and deserve the best, whether that be with a girl or a boy.

Yes I have.

And to tell someone you love them is more meaningful when it’s not with words, if that makes sense. Show them. Make them your world and treat them like they’re the best thing next to sliced bread. Do things for them. Listen to the little things to show them you care. Remember that they really liked that perfume/cologne they mentioned 6 months ago and get it for them for their birthday. But of course, telling someone you love them is a huge step and so important in any relationship especially if you truly mean it.. then your relationship is taken onto a whole different level.

But are you catching my drift? Actions speaking much louder than words.

Why won’t he give you the time of day? Is it because you’re afraid to talk to him or he just simply ignores you.

If you’re afraid, don’t be. You’ve got nothing to lose and never let anyone make you feel inferior. You’re beautiful and should be treated as such.

If he simply ignores you, then you’re worth so much more than that. Move on to someone that will treat you the way you should be treated and anyone that is making you feel unimportant should not be in your life because that’s unhealthy and unnecessary.

The fact that you’re asking just makes me think that you’re not in love. You just know, it comes natural. The feeling of being with that person is single handedly the best feeling thus far in your life and when you’re with them, you feel whole.. as if nothing else matters and all your problems are gone.
